چکیده
in study was conducted in two separate experiments in 2011-2013 in seeds and plant improvement institute. in the first experiment, status growth scion and resistance to spring late frost and content proline in 10 genotypes and cultivar almond, grafted on gf677 rootstock included touno, non pariel, shokofeh, sahand, mamayi, shahrood 12, a200, 1-25, 1-16 and 13-40 with 10 replication as a completely randomized design and in the second experiment, status their growth in two month period as a completely randomized design, with two factor time and genotypes and with 10 replication was evaluated in seeds and plant improvement institute. result showed that scions growth rate of cultivar shokofeh was more than other genotypes and cultivars in each two year. scion height of cultivar shokofeh in first and second years was 54.15 and 53.48 centimeter, respectively. also, the least height scion belongs to cultivar mamayi and genotypes 1-25 in each two year. although the leaves start in cultivar shokofeh was later than mamayi and shahrood 12, but rate damage of spring late frost in scions this cultivar was more than other genotypes and cultivar. genotypes 13-40 showed the most resistance to spring late frost and the most content prolin (29.75 m mol/ gr fresh weight).

scion-rootstock combination and level of salinity affect growth characteristics and concentration of nutrition elements of almond leaves and roots. in this research, effects of salinity stress were investigated on growth characteristics and nutrient concentration of almond leaves and roots by completely randomized design (crd), with two factors, genotype and water salinity with three replicatio...
متن کاملCharacteristics of Almond Selections in Relation to Late Frost Spring
Almond is one of the most important nut crops in Iran. Due to the suitable climatic conditions, Iran is one of the most important growing centers for wild and domesticated species of almond in world. Native genotypes typically are early flowering, due to late spring frost, often; they have been damaged. So frost damage to the flowers and early developing fruits is one of the most limiting facto...
متن کاملEvaluation the Resistance of Almond to Frost in Controlled and Field Conditions
Frost damage to the flowers and early developing fruits is one of the most limiting factors in the most almond cultivation regions of the world. This study was undertaken to help understand almond response to frost spring at same phenological stage, in order to develop criteria for the selection of cultivars with improved resistance to frost on the basis of field and laboratory experiments. In ...

to evaluate morphological markers linked with drought stress resistance for screening almond genotypes in the breeding programs the effect of drought stress was studied on six nominated almond genotypes seedlings. the six pre-selected water stress mimposed almond genotypes included: homozygote sweet (butte from university of california), heterozygote sweet (shahrood12, shahrood18, shahrood21 an...
متن کاملeffects of b toxicity on vegetative growth, physiological characteristics and boron distribution in two scion-rootstock combinations of almond (prunus dulcis mill.) tree
boron (b) toxicity is an important disorder that can limit plant growth in arid and semi-arid environments. it has been proven that use of tolerant rootstocks impede b uptake or transport to the aerial portions of plants. this may alleviate b toxicity in the scion, consequently improves the tolerance to excess b in the root zone. an experiment was conducted to find the effects of b toxicity on ...
